Health Tech Hub Styria 2026 sets strong impulses for the future of medicine

Graz, March 2026 – With around 300 participants from 19 countries, the Health Tech Hub Styria (HTH) has once again established itself as a key platform for exchange, innovation, and international networking in the fields of health tech and life sciences. The conference, held on March 25 and 26, 2026, brought together leading minds from research, industry, healthcare, and start-ups in Graz and generated strong momentum for the future of medicine.

The program featured numerous high-profile keynotes and sessions – representing many more inspiring contributions, a few highlights include: Michael Fuchsjäger (Medizinische Universität Graz) outlined how modern infrastructure and clinical excellence are shaping the future of radiology. Bernhard Schmidt of Siemens Healthineers provided insights into a new era of CT imaging. Stephan Bastelberger of Roche Diagnostics addressed the challenges of translating neurological innovations into clinical practice. Gernot Müller-Putz from Technische Universität Graz shared insights into the latest developments at the intersection of neurotechnology and digitalization. The program was complemented by economic and policy perspectives from Gernot Blümel, who outlined the development of the eHealth technology park MARE in Venice.

Another highlight of the conference was the Future Zone, where start-ups, research projects, and companies showcased their latest developments and prototypes while engaging directly with potential partners and users.

In addition to the rich content, intensive networking once again proved to be at the heart of HTH: numerous B2B meetings and personal encounters laid the foundation for new collaborations and projects. The conference aims to accelerate innovation and strengthen collaboration across the international healthcare ecosystem. A special networking highlight—also reflecting the City of Graz’s appreciation of the conference and its participants—was the reception at Graz City Hall.

The Health Tech Hub Styria is organized by Human.technology Styria together with strong partners, including Steirische Wirtschaftsförderung, Science Park Graz, JOANNEUM RESEARCH, the Medizinische Universität Graz, and the InternationalisierungsCenter Steiermark (ICS).

Since 2019, the conference has been held annually in Graz, sustainably strengthening the international visibility of the location. The next Health Tech Hub Styria will take place on March 17 and 18, 2027.
